| This oceanfront beach home has breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and marsh from two porches or through its many windows. Enjoy your vacation in our home containing comfortable, attractive furnishings with lovely artwork and very functional living and dining areas in spacious 2000 square feet duplex. A fully equipped kitchen opens to the dining and living room areas. Four bedrooms and three full bathrooms on two levels provide the perfect arrangement for families sharing a vacation together. Two master suites, one with a queen bed and the other with king bed, are on the main floor. Two additional roomy bedrooms are upstairs, one with a queen bed with oceanview alcove and the other with two double beds and marshview. This is the perfect vacation spot. A short boardwalk takes you across the dunes to the unspoiled beach of this lovely island. Swim in the ocean, walk the quiet beach, explore by bikeRelax and watch the shrimp boats and dolphins cruising by or the lines of pelicans following the shoreline. Enjoy Harbor Island Beach Club’s swimming pools, fitness center, and tennis and basketball courts. Watch the sunrise over the ocean from your bed or while sipping coffee at the bistro table on the oceanside porch, or watch the sunset over the marsh while enjoying afternoon drinks on the front porch swing. This home is in a neighborhood called Pelican Point on Harbor Island. All of these homes are 4 BR duplexes. The neighborhood has the most beautiful setting, all are oceanfront with breathtaking views of the ocean and in addition, they all have views of the salt water marsh on the backside - very stunning! Rate Description: Please add 11% South Carolina Sales and Accommodations tax to daily and weekly rentals, plus a $75 reservation/damage waiver fee.
Fee Description: DAILY rentals do NOT include departure cleaning (cost varies by size of home), Harbor Island car passes, and/or amenity cards for Fripp guests, if normally included in weekly rentals.
Driving Directions: Driving Directions: From the south: Take I-95 North, take S.C. exit 8 (Hwy 278/Beaufort/Hilton Head). Turn onto Hwy 278, toward Hilton Head/Beaufort. Travel approximately 4 miles and turn left at the sign for Beaufort. (If you pass the Wal-Mart, you missed the turn). Stay on this road until it dead-ends at Hwy 170. Turn left onto Hwy 170 and continue for about 11miles, cross the Broad River Bridge, and turn right onto Hwy 802 (the next right turn after the bridge at the BP Gas Station). Take this road for a couple of miles until it comes to an end and turn right to stay on the same hwy. Stay on Hwy 802 (you’ll cross over the bridge by Parris Island) until you come to a fairly major intersection with a CVS, a gas station, a Hardee’s, and an auto parts store. Turn right at this intersection. You will still be on Hwy 802. (You’ll know it’s the right turn because you’ll see signs for Fripp Island). At all times, follow the signs toward Fripp. You’ll cross another bridge over to Lady’s Island. After crossing the bridge, travel another mile or 2 and make a right hand turn onto Hwy 21. A video rental store and a Publix will be at this intersection. Go approx 15 miles on Hwy 21. You’ll go over one final drawbridge and then turn left onto Harbor Island. Once you pass through the security gates, follow the road out toward the beach (you need to hand the security guards your pass(es)). Turn right on South Harbor Drive. Follow road about 1/3 mile, 41A will be on your left.
From the north: Go I-95 South, take exit 33 (US-17 N) toward Charleston/Beaufort. Go approximately 8.5 miles and turn right onto US-21 S/Trask Pkwy. Follow US-21 S/Trask Pkwy for about 14 miles, then stay straight to go onto US-21 BR/Boundary St. Continue to follow US-21 BR, which becomes US-21. Continue another 13 miles and turn left onto Harbor Island. From there, follow the directions above.
Minimum Rental Period (Days): Typically 7 nights during the summer and 3 nights during the off season.
