| With only a 3 minute walk to the oceanfront sands, this home was built to be a traditional beach home with hardwood floors throughout. The great room with a vaulted ceiling has wonderful views of the water and rookery. Top floor has a huge fully equipped kitchen, a large handmade antique reproduction kitchen table seating 8, a great room with two couches, a fireplace, a large TV with satellite and DVD, and unbelievable sunset views over the river while you watch the shrimp boats return from a day at sea. The entire south wall is floor to ceiling windows, with a full deck overlooking the rookery, an ocean view, and full view of the river. There is also a half bath upstairs. The second floor has 3 bedrooms, a laundry room and baths. The master bedroom with a walkout deck and view of the rookery also has views of the river and sunsets. It has a queen bed and a 27" TV. The master bath has a walk-in tiled/glass shower, and a large two sink countertop. There is also a walk-in closet with a skylight. There is a washer and dryer in the laundry room with extra beach towels in case you need a few more. The second bedroom also has a queen bed that looks over the small deck and the rookery as well. The third bedroom has two bunk beds. The second and third bedrooms share a bath that has a whirlpool tub and shower under a skylight. The first floor is the garage with an outside shower to get the sand off. All bedroom furniture in the house is brand new as well as all of the towels and sheets. |

Rate Description: Please add 11% South Carolina Sales and Accommodations tax to daily and weekly rentals, plus a $75 reservation/damage waiver fee.
Fee Description: DAILY rentals do NOT include departure cleaning (cost varies by size of home), Harbor Island car passes, and/or amenity cards for Fripp guests, if normally included in weekly rentals.
Driving Directions: From the south: Take I-95 North, take S.C. exit 8 (Hwy 278/Beaufort/Hilton Head). Turn onto Hwy 278, toward Hilton Head/Beaufort. Travel approximately 4 miles and turn left at the sign for Beaufort. (If you pass the Wal-Mart, you missed the turn). Stay on this road until it dead-ends at Hwy 170. Turn left onto Hwy 170 and continue for about 11miles, cross the Broad River Bridge, and turn right onto Hwy 802 (the next right turn after the bridge at the BP Gas Station). Take this road for a couple of miles until it comes to an end and turn right to stay on the same hwy. Stay on Hwy 802 (you’ll cross over the bridge by Parris Island) until you come to a fairly major intersection with a CVS, a gas station, a Hardee’s, and an auto parts store. Turn right at this intersection. You will still be on Hwy 802. (You’ll know it’s the right turn because you’ll see signs for Fripp Island). At all times, follow the signs toward Fripp. You’ll cross another bridge over to Lady’s Island. After crossing the bridge, travel another mile or 2 and make a right hand turn onto Hwy 21. A video rental store and a Publix will be at this intersection. Go approx 15 miles on Hwy 21. You’ll go over one final drawbridge and then turn left onto Harbor Island. Once you pass through the security gates, follow the road out toward the beach (you need to hand the security guards your pass(es). At the curve by the tennis courts, turn left on to North Harbor Drive. Turn left on to Tradewind lane. House will be at the end of the cul-de-sac on your left.
From the north: Go I-95 South, take exit 33 (US-17 N) toward Charleston/Beaufort. Go approximately 8.5 miles and turn right onto US-21 S/Trask Pkwy. Follow US-21 S/Trask Pkwy for about 14 miles, then stay straight to go onto US-21 BR/Boundary St. Continue to follow US-21 BR, which becomes US-21. Continue another 13 miles and turn left onto Harbor Island. From there, follow the directions above.
Minimum Rental Period (Days): Typically 7 nights during the summer and 3 nights during the off season.
