This eightyear old 4 BR, 5 BA home is set up for fun and relaxation! Eclectic decor with everything needed to enjoy this unique pristine island setting. Sit and swing, stretch out and relax in one of the hammocks, or even fish from the backyard. The four bedrooms have their own full bath and the library has two futons if extra sleeping space is needed. The open kitchen, dining room, and living room are filled with light and provide wonderful views without ever leaving your comfortable chair. The beach is just across the cul-de-sac and a meandering tidal creek flows right behind the house. The creek and marsh provide hours of wildlife watching, crabbing, and fishing. At mid to high tide the creek can be navigated by a small boat, affording access to the other creeks and the Harbor River. Our home is located at the quieter north end of the island, but the Beach and Racquet Club is only a short walk or quick golf cart (provided) ride away. Rate Description:  Please add 11% South Carolina Sales and Accommodations tax to daily and weekly rentals, plus a $75 reservation/damage waiver fee.
 
Fee Description:  DAILY rentals do NOT include departure cleaning (cost varies by size of home), Harbor Island car passes, and/or amenity cards for Fripp guests, if normally included in weekly rentals.
 
Driving Directions:  From the south: Take I-95 North, take S.C. exit 8 (Hwy 278/Beaufort/Hilton Head). Turn onto Hwy 278, toward Hilton Head/Beaufort. Travel approximately 4 miles and turn left at the sign for Beaufort. (If you pass the Wal-Mart, you missed the turn). Stay on this road until it dead-ends at Hwy 170. Turn left onto Hwy 170 and continue for about 11miles, cross the Broad River Bridge, and turn right onto Hwy 802 (the next right turn after the bridge at the BP Gas Station). Take this road for a couple of miles until it comes to an end and turn right to stay on the same hwy. Stay on Hwy 802 (you’ll cross over the bridge by Parris Island) until you come to a fairly major intersection with a CVS, a gas station, a Hardee’s, and an auto parts store. Turn right at this intersection. You will still be on Hwy 802. (You’ll know it’s the right turn because you’ll see signs for Fripp Island). At all times, follow the signs toward Fripp. You’ll cross another bridge over to Lady’s Island. After crossing the bridge, travel another mile or 2 and make a right hand turn onto Hwy 21. A video rental store and a Publix will be at this intersection. Go approx 15 miles on Hwy 21. You’ll go over one final drawbridge and then turn left onto Harbor Island. Once you pass through the security gates, follow the road out toward the beach (you need to hand the security guards your pass(es). It will curve to the left – just keep following it. Teal Ct. is about 1/2 mile on the left. From the north: Go I-95 South, take exit 33 (US-17 N) toward Charleston/Beaufort. Go approximately 8.5 miles and turn right onto US-21 S/Trask Pkwy. Follow US-21 S/Trask Pkwy for about 14 miles, then stay straight to go onto US-21 BR/Boundary St. Continue to follow US-21 BR (through downtown Beaufort), which becomes US-21. From there, follow the directions above.
