Beach lover s paradise! Wonderful views! Quiet! Two story, furnished house on private island. Wrona s Retreat Details: Three bedroom, 2.5 bath home on the center of the island (best beaches) and walking distance from the ocean, beach club, shopping, restaurants, and pools. The wooded lot provides lots of privacy, while such a short distance to all the amenities (Fripp amenity cards available for purchase). Our home is located on the main road of the island, Tarpon Blvd. It is about 1 1/2 miles in from the main entrance between the two crossroads Marlin and Skipjack. It is about 1/2 mile to the beach club and tennis courts. The beach access we use is #9 and it never loses beach, even at high tide! We are equidistant to both of the golf courses, meaning we are pretty centrally located. And to make your vacation even more fun, we are including a golf cart for your use during your stay. 254 Tarpon has been undergoing some exciting recent changes in 2010. All the cushions and pillows have been replaced with new ones. The new fabrics have an exciting beachy feel to them. A new screened porch and expanded deck has been added. The screened porch is 13' x 12' and the deck is 23' x 12'. There is a new ceiling fan on the screened porch along with comfortable wicker and wrought iron furniture on the porch and deck. The entire house has been re-sided and painted and looks great. As a result of the re-siding, the house was re-sheeted with the old sheeting removed. This eliminated the smells in the garage. There is no doubt this is one of the best rental opportunities on the island.

Rate Description:  Please add 11% South Carolina Sales and Accommodations tax to daily and weekly rentals, plus a $75 reservation/damage waiver fee.
 
Fee Description:  DAILY rentals do NOT include departure cleaning (cost varies by size of home), Harbor Island car passes, and/or amenity cards for Fripp guests, if normally included in weekly rentals.
 
Driving Directions:  From the south: Take I-95 North, take S.C. exit 8 (Hwy 278/Beaufort/Hilton Head). Turn onto Hwy 278, toward Hilton Head/Beaufort. Travel approximately 4 miles and turn left at the sign for Beaufort. (If you pass the Wal-Mart, you missed the turn). Stay on this road until it dead-ends at Hwy 170. Turn left onto Hwy 170 and continue for about 11miles, cross the Broad River Bridge, and turn right onto Hwy 802 (the next right turn after the bridge at the BP Gas Station). Take this road for a couple of miles until it comes to an end and turn right to stay on the same hwy. Stay on Hwy 802 (you’ll cross over the bridge by Parris Island) until you come to a fairly major intersection with a CVS, a gas station, a Hardee’s, and an auto parts store. Turn right at this intersection. You will still be on Hwy 802. (You’ll know it’s the right turn because you’ll see signs for Fripp Island). At all times, follow the signs toward Fripp. You’ll cross another bridge over to Lady’s Island. After crossing the bridge, travel another mile or 2 and make a right hand turn onto Hwy 21. A video rental store and a Publix will be at this intersection. Go approx 15 miles on Hwy 21. Hwy 21 dead ends onto Fripp Island. After checking into the Guard Gate on Fripp, continue onto the Island. At this time you are on Tarpon BLVD. Follow Tarpon until you get to 254, (about ½ mile) on your left. From the north: Go I-95 South, take exit 33 (US-17 N) toward Charleston/Beaufort. Go approximately 8.5 miles and turn right onto US-21 S/Trask Pkwy. Follow US-21 S/Trask Pkwy for about 14 miles, and then stay straight to go onto US-21 BR/Boundary St. Continue to follow US-21 BR (through downtown Beaufort), which becomes US-21. Continue another 17 miles until the road ends at Fripp Island.
