| Welcome to our beautiful island retreat. When you pull on to this private gated island you can feel your stresses melting away. This island is teeming with wildlife from thousands of birds to dolphins swimming and playing in your backyard. The island is also home to Loggerhead Turtles. Harbor Island boasts some of the most amazing sunsets in the world. You can sit and relax on one of your four decks and watch shrimp boats on the horizon. The views are breathtaking. Your time spent here will be some of your most cherished memories.
This brand new beautifully decorated home is furnished with comfort in mind. This seven bedroom home lends plenty of room for spreading out during your stay, but also has a comfortable family room for spending time together.
The kitchen is fully equipped and all linens are provided. We have a full-size refrigerator and full-size freezer. There are three DVD players and satellite TV for times you want to be indoors, but don't miss out on all the activities the island offers.
We have a refreshing Olympic size pool along with a childrens wading pool. There is a playground and a beach volleyball net as well as tennis and basketball courts. There is also a 100yd chipping green available for golf practice and a private exercise facility with Cybex equipment. We have picnic areas and do not forget to bring your crabbing gear. All of that and even before you get to the 3 mile private beach where seashells and sanddollars are plentiful.

Rate Description: Please add 11% South Carolina Sales and Accommodations tax to daily and weekly rentals, plus a $75 reservation/damage waiver fee.
Fee Description: DAILY rentals do NOT include departure cleaning (cost varies by size of home), Harbor Island car passes, and/or amenity cards for Fripp guests, if normally included in weekly rentals.
Driving Directions: From the south: Take I-95 North, take S.C. exit 8 (Hwy 278/Beaufort/Hilton Head). Turn onto Hwy 278, toward Hilton Head/Beaufort. Travel approximately 4 miles and turn left at the sign for Beaufort. (If you pass the Wal-Mart, you missed the turn). Stay on this road until it dead-ends at Hwy 170. Turn left onto Hwy 170 and continue for about 11miles, cross the Broad River Bridge, and turn right onto Hwy 802 (the next right turn after the bridge at the BP Gas Station). Take this road for a couple of miles until it comes to an end and turn right to stay on the same hwy. Stay on Hwy 802 (you’ll cross over the bridge by Parris Island) until you come to a fairly major intersection with a CVS, a gas station, a Hardee’s, and an auto parts store. Turn right at this intersection. You will still be on Hwy 802. (You’ll know it’s the right turn because you’ll see signs for Fripp Island). At all times, follow the signs toward Fripp. You’ll cross another bridge over to Lady’s Island. After crossing the bridge, travel another mile or 2 and make a right hand turn onto Hwy 21. A video rental store and a Publix will be at this intersection. Go approx 15 miles on Hwy 21. You’ll go over one final drawbridge and then turn left onto Harbor Island. Once you pass through the security gates, we are just a few houses down on the left, 73 Harbor Drive.
From the north: Go I-95 South, take exit 33 (US-17 N) toward Charleston/Beaufort. Go approximately 8.5 miles and turn right onto US-21 S/Trask Pkwy. Follow US-21 S/Trask Pkwy for about 14 miles, then stay straight to go onto US-21 BR/Boundary St. Continue to follow US-21 BR, which becomes US-21. Continue another 13 miles and turn left onto Harbor Island. Follow directions to home above.
Minimum Rental Period (Days): Typically 7 nights during the summer and 3 nights during the off season.
